Cookie policy.
What cookies this site uses, and how to control them.

The short version
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. We do not profile you, and we do not follow you around other websites. That is why you will not see a cookie banner here. There is nothing to consent to.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Some are needed for a site to work. Others watch what you do. We only have the first kind.
Cookies this site uses
- Security cookies, set by our hosting provider. Our site is hosted and protected by Netlify. To tell real visitors from bots it may set one or two short lived security cookies. They hold no personal data and they expire quickly. These are strictly necessary. Without them the site cannot be protected, so they do not require consent.
- Booking cookies, set by Microsoft. Only on our Book a call page. That page shows our diary through Microsoft Bookings. Microsoft sets its own cookies so the booking works. If you never open that page, they are never set.
What we do not use
No Google Analytics. No advertising or remarketing pixels. No social media trackers. No cross-site tracking of any kind.
We do look at simple visitor numbers through a privacy friendly analytics tool that counts page views without cookies and without identifying anyone. Nothing is stored on your device by it.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Your browser help pages explain how. Blocking the hosting provider’s cookies may stop parts of the site working, and blocking Microsoft cookies will stop the booking page loading. Everything else will be fine.
The providers
Our hosting provider and Microsoft set those cookies under their own policies, not ours. Their cookie and privacy notices are on their websites. Our host may process this data outside the UK, which is covered in our privacy policy.
